You knew it was coming, you knew it all along, and now the day is upon us...
It's time to take a moment and say goodbye to the shows that didn't make it to the 2016/2017 TV Season.

I'll be honest, I'm not going to miss some of the show I've lost this year, and also the networks renewed some shows I would have like to see getting cancelled, but we're not living in a perfect world so here's what I lost this year:

AGENT CARTER. (ABC - 2 seasons)
I'm going to miss this show... I can't believe Peggy and Jarvis are not going to keep me company next year, but I expected this to be the last season. Season 1 was just amazing, but season 2 was kind of less interesting... I guess (and this is quite rare for me) there was too much romance... It was like: "oh we have a show with a bad ass woman, what are we going to do with her, are we going to make her kick asses for the whole season? Yes but let's throw there some random romance because that's what women who watch shows about a woman want to see on TV" ahem... Not necessarily. The only bits I really appreciated were the Peggy/Jarvis moments. I love their friendship, one of the best bromance on TV this year! Although, one of the thing I'll miss the most is not show strictly show related... Now that Hayley and James are out of the games there're not going to be any more Agents of SHIELD/Agent Carter DubSmash wars. That's just a huge loss!

BITTEN.  (SPACE - 3 seasons)
I knew it was the final season and I only really enjoyed season 1 so I was okay with the decision from the start. Goodbye Greyston Abs... You were perfect!

CASTLE. (ABC - 8 seasons)
I would be sad about it, if not for the fact I'm still pretty mad about what ABC did to Stana. I was planning to stop watching the show after this season finale because for me there's no Castle without Beckett and now that I know it's over I'm not as sad as I should (I'm sorry Nathan, I'm going to miss you... Land another show ASAP, please). There's one thing that it's hunting me though... Since they were planning to have no Beckett next year, the show got cancelled yesterday and the finale is going to be aired on Monday evening, does it mean they're going to kill Beckett? I wanted the show to end with Beckett telling Castle she was pregnant but I guess that's going to stay just a dream...

GALAVANT. (ABC - 2 seasons)
I.AM.UPSET! I loved this show! This show was so damn good! WHY? WHYYYYY?

GRANDFATHERED. (FOX - 1 season)
I kind of liked this show and it ended with a pretty big cliffhanger. I hate that to be the end of the show but I'll be abe to live without it... And by the way John Stamos can't be 52... He just can't!

PERSON OF INTEREST. (CBS - 5 seasons)
I knew this was the last season but it's upsetting because it's such a great show. I love every character and the storylines are great... But I'm glad they knew from the start this was their last season so they can give us an ending... PoI cliffhanger are damn hard on the feels!

THE FAMILY. (ABC - 1 season)
Not going to miss it... I thought it would be an interesting show instead it's just creepy, I'm watching it still just because it's like a car crash... I can't look away!

UNDATEABLE. (NBC - 3 season)
I bindgewatched this show months ago and I found it very entertaining, especially the live episodes... Very refreshing and it's a pity it got cancelled!

Now I just have to wait for Limitless and Stitchers... I really want these two shows to make it!

So, which shows are you going to miss? Is your TV calendar suddenly very light or you bet on the right shows and they all got renewed? Let me know :)

I know that it was a miracle in itself that Agent Carter got a second season to begin with, or even got a show at all, but it's still disappointing that we aren't getting a third season especially to further explore Peggy and her involvement with creating SHIELD and all of her other achievements. I think that's what people were hoping for in the second season, but they went in another direction, not necessarily for the worst, but it was certainly not what people were expecting. And I'm gonna miss the whole Peggy and Angie friendship, and I'm sad that she wasn't even present at all in the second season.

I want to have hope that by another miracle Netflix would pick it up for one more season or something, but alas I don't think it's possible. :( At least Hayley has another show, though, so she won't be completely gone from our screens. Just not as Peggy anymore.

I'll definitely miss Galavant, it was such a ridiculously fun and entertaining piece of genius that is such a rarity these days. But I think even they were baffled that the show would go on as long as it did, they even meta'd it through a song in the finale, lol. And hey, at least they gave a brilliant sendoff anyway with the ending being utterly perfect.

Castle is one that I'm happy got canceled, simply because of the BTS drama and the atrocity of what they did to Stana. How can you basically come out and say that she is fired from what would have been the final season of the show without any negotiations? How did you think that would reflect on the fans of the show, who watch for both Nathan and Stana since they are basically the two main characters? Seriously. So happy it was canned, but disappointed that we have to be excited for it to be canceled because of such stupidity from TPTB.

That is exactly what puzzles me... Everyone knew the show wasn't doing that great by the end of season 1 so why waste a whole season? I would understand such a move for a show with a fantastic share because you kind of keep the good stuff for last, instead they followed a completely different path and the show ended like that... Leaving us with nothing... Such a waste... :(

It was so light and enjoyable... Great songs also... But I guess musical shows (for adult... not stuff like Glee) aren't really appreciated for some reason... Even Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - that luckily got renewed - didn't do great...

Seriously. So happy it was canned, but disappointed that we have to be excited for it to be canceled because of such stupidity from TPTB.
Such a stupid move... I'm sorry for Nathan though... I hope he'll find something he can be excited about soon! :) and for Stana I wish her all the best and I'm sure she'll do great away from ABC!

I'm sad about Galavant but not surprised. I think they were pretty damn shocked to get a second season.

I am pissed about The Grinder's cancellation. That show was way too smart for FOX though. I wish someone else would pick it up. I am going to have to restart my search for a clever comedy.

I know Galavant wasn't a surprise, and I'm glad it actually had a second season but it was so good and original that I just hate to see such a good show get cancelled while other crap is still on :(

I've never seen the Grinder but I know FOX is the worst network ever! It cancelled so many of my beloved shows... I actually check if a show is on FOX before starting it and if I'm just curious and not completely interested in it (like Lucifer) I don't even start!!! Smart comedy is a rare thing... I wish you luck for the next season!
Or maybe Netflix/Hulu/Yahoo could pick it up... Fingers crossed!!!

For me, the silver lining in Agent Carter getting canned is I can now binge watch the whole run! Since I don't always have control of the TV, I prefer doing it that way sometimes. I'm behind on my Marvel television anyways.

What mystifies is that Sleepy Hollow actually got renewed for a fourth season, when the viewership has been steadily dropping since the second. And let's not even TALK about the foolishness that was the season finale this year. Ugh. I haven't even been following it for the third season, and I'm pissed about it anyway.

I haven't been following anything else except Penny Dreadful, which is still very strong this year, and I'm loving it.

It;s difficult to keep up with all the Marvel Stuff, I agree... So many shows!!! :) So you also watch Daredevil, Jessica Jones etc? Jessica Jones was excellent!!!

Penny Dreadful is on my to watch list mostly because of Billie Piper... But a friend of mine watches it and she LOVES it! No that my shows are coming to an end I can start binge watching other things and I'm very excited about it... I already started binge watching a cartoon now: Gravity Falls and I'm laughing my a$$ off... so clever! But I'll need something crazy good soon enough :D

That's just it though--I haven't watched any of the Marvel shows yet. There's too much good TV out there, and when I'm already obsessively rewatching the movies, welllll, I'll get to it . . . eventually. Jessica Jones is highest on my list after Agent Carter though.

Penny Dreadful took me a few episodes to get into. And it's intense--not for the faint-hearted. But it's sooo gooooood!

Well you're going to love Jessica Jones! Great show and I'm not saying that just because David Tennant is on i (Oh David <3) definitely better than Dare Devil that is still pretty good! :D

I remember watching the beginning of the pilot of Penny Dreadful a year or so ago and I remember this scene with Eva Green praying to a cross that then turns into spiders or something along that like and I was like "YES YES YES GIVE ME THIS SHOW" but I had too many things to catch up with and I left it there but I'll go back to it! :D
