I'm very ashamed of myself... I haven't read much this month either. I have some good reasons and some less good ones. I've been traveling around quite a lot and I've been trying to spend as much time as I can with Eric and in the evening I'm just so tired that I can't read as much as I want... Next month should be easier since I'm completely alone and I'll need a distraction... The other reason (the bad one) is that my TV calendar is full, as I neglected my books I also neglected my shows so I am behind with almost everything and I'm trying to catch up as fast as I can, so that I can go back dividing my time equally between books and shows.

Also Eric now really likes Suits, so I am re-watching it with him and it's fun! He is totally into it and he wants to watch it together so I can't watch something else when he's in a TV mood... The funny thing is: Eric tends to watch an episode a day and no more than that... With Suits we end up watching 3 episodes per night! I'm glad he likes it so much! But this is a post about books so:

Here's what I've read this month:

I like books narrated from different points of view and I quite enjoyed all the character in the novel, but the book felt very long... I think the story could have been told in less pages.

This book was so good! I read it while flying from Miami to Paris. I could not put it down... I love Mitch Albom and the the way he writes. This book is a masterpiece and I think it should eventually became a Classic! It is truly something everyone should read and talk about!

I'm now reading A Man Called Ove and it seems pretty good!

TOTAL of BOOKS READ 2016: 32 / oct: 2

That, and for me, I'm lazy or I am sometimes too tired and prefer to watch TV!

I am very slowly reading a book on Norwegian folk belief. I am reading other books too, but I haven't really read sine finishing my last book. There are three or four books I want to have read before 2017 is here, so I should just get to it.

I've read The time keeper. Years back now, but I don't remember much. A man called Ove is a good one, and funny :)

I'm enjoying A Man Called Ove very much... I think it will hit me in the feels pretty soon though... I'm a third into it and it's really enjoyable and well written!

I read The Time Keeper on the plane back to Italy... I could not put it down!!!

I think you'll have enough time to read these books unless they're very very long ones! I want to try to read at least 3 to 4 books this month... Fingers crossed!!! :) What are the books you want to read before 2017, if I may ask? :)

I want to finish Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare, as well as one Norwegian novel I have begun reading and one I will pick up in December when this half of the school semester is over. Also I am reading a book about Anders Behring Breivik (the man behind the terrorist attacks in Norway in 2011) and some of the people killed and some who survived. It makes me angry and sad and I can’t stomach it for long periods so it is slow going, but I do want to finish it.

I also want to read The Martian by Andy Weir and The last witnesses: the book of unchildlike stories by Svetlana Aleksijivitsj. The last two will probably be my reading start to 2017.

I know I will get some books on December 24th as well, and I know I will pick some of them up. I have some poetry collections on my list.

I will never make it through it all! I have school work and work too, and that is why I’m not reading as much these days. I am behind on reading and TV too, just like you.

What about you? What do you want to read before 2017 is here and is there any books being released in 2017 you're excited about?

I want to read the Martian too! I haven't watched the movie because I want to read the book first , but it's not at the front of my list.

I want to read that I already have:
- Whispers Beyond the Veil (A Change of Fortune Mystery #1) by Jessica Estevao
- Our Red Hot Romance Is Leaving Me Blue by Dixie Cash
- The World According to Star Wars by Cass R Sunstein
- Somerset by Leila Meacham

To come out by the end of 2016
- Victoria by Daisy Goodwin (It will come out in 20 days <3)
- The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher (That as well is coming out in 3 weeks)

Coming in 2017 I have:
- The Most Beautiful Woman in Florence: A Story of Botticelli by Alyssa Palombo

I'l be back in Florida on the 28th of December so I'll have to wait an extra month for the two books are coming in November! :(

Two books is good! I didn't finish reading anything in October. I'm still making my way through the giant hunks of tree that are Game of Thrones and Night Circus (both very enjoyable books, but HUGE).

Yes these are MASSIVE books! I don't think I'd be able to finish one in a month!

I actually looked into the word count. The two books are about 1300 words combined - which is the equivalent of the four novels and one graphic novel that I read immediately before them. :P

I don't think I'd be able to finish one in a month!

I don't think I could either - at least, not these days. I would have managed it easily years ago.
