Happy Friday!

I hope you guys are having a good one and that the waether will cooperate with whatever you want to do over the weekend! Here it's suppose to be cold but sunny so I hope I'll be able to spend a nice Sunday with Eric on the Vespa, going to visit our favorite spots before he leaves. He's going to be on Watch* on Saturday so I'll drop him off on Saturday morning at 7.29 and I'll be able to pick him up on Sunday at 7.31.

*Watch: On Yachts there always have to be someone on board when in Port, so there is a rooster in place where every day one member of every department (Interior Stewart/Stewardess, Deckhand and Engineer) has to stay on board on call for 24 hours. These 3 crew members can't leave the boat and have to take care of some tasks, like rounds and complete checklists.

The question I want to ask you today is from one of the Memes I did a while ago, so for some of you I might already know the answer (but I probably forgot because I'm so bad a remembering these kind of things) but please feel free to repeat if you feel to:

For me it's easy and lame LOL. My nickname is erychan86 because my name is Erika (but my friends call me Ery) Chan is because I grew up loving manga and anime and I am the kind of person who would be called Erika-chan by everyone xD and 86 because I was born in 1986 :D
I'm erychan86 or simply erychan everywhere. I think my first nickname was akirE, but it was a LONG TIME AGO. I always use erychan/erychan86 when I fill in the nick name part because I'm so used to it and I've never thought about changing it! :D

.What's the story behind your nick name? I think it had a little to do with John Lennon's "Imagine," but also to do with finding two words I liked that went well together.

.Do you have the same nickname everywhere or you have different ones? In that case What's your favorite? My go-to username is ashdolenz. My newer go-to is hideloveaway. The former is my name Ash plus Micky Dolenz of the Monkees; I was very obsessed with the Monkees when I was younger. The latter is after my favorite Beatles song "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away."

.Was your nickname here on LJ your one and only choice or you had some other ones in mind? What made you choose this one, in that case? I may have had another in mind but I really don't' remember what it was, it was so long ago! I remember once I liked "poets_dreamed" from Don McLean's "American Pie ("The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.") My current username just sounded best to me. And in the end, I keep it because I'm too lazy to change it and it's become a part of who I am.

You know that actually your nickname inspired me this question? I was going through the friend-list and I started wondering about all the nicknames and I stopped on yours and I thought "I wonder is it's from Imagine by JL" :D

Was your nickname here on LJ your one and only choice or you had some other ones in mind? What made you choose this one, in that case? I just changed it to Hanorganaas. I don't know I always joked that Han Solo was a feminist and would take Leia's last name lol. So I just made it for over here.

L - as in L from DeathNote.
I literally sit like him naturally, and I have pretty much most of my life. So when DeathNote came out, everyone started to call me that, and I had no clue why. So I finally decided to figure out what that was about, and ended up really liking his character.
The reason for sitting is the same too o.o
I can concentrate better in that odd position.

Kyo was my name in HS, I said I wanted to be called it, and it stuck, even the teachers called me that.

Kaosah - Is pretty much a messed up version of the word Chaos, but with a K and an extra A.. I also like how short form it's Kao. That one I gave to myself because I wanted something that was simple and easy to remember, but also had a bit of meaning to it.

What's the story behind your nick name? I have always liked the word ragnarök, as it's from Norse mythology, and the number 8 has been a favoirte of mine.

It's funny you said you don't have the same name on all the other socials "just in case" because then I thought - as I was writing - that I was giving out too much informations LOL! But for me is so much more easier since I change passwords all the time and at least I don't have to remember the nickname LOL!

What's the story behind your nick name?

I chose this name when I was battling depression. Verdande I took from norse mythology. She is one of three norns and they weave the fates of gods and human. They are a type of goddesses. They each govern the past, present and future, and the present is governed by Verdande. At the time when I chose this name it was important for me to anchor myself to the present and find reasons to stay rooted in the here and now. Mi is just a dialect version of me/I in Norwegian, and again it has to do with me needed a focus on myself.

I only use this name on LJ where I share more of myself. On tumblr and imzy I am storiesthatstayed (taken from LOTR and my undying love of it). It does mean quite a lot to me because of how far I have come since I first started using it and I feel quite attached to it now.

I've had so many names on LJ but this is one of my dream names because it has meaning for me. After everything I've been through in my life I see myself as being pretty fearless and that's why I love it so much. On other social media like Instagram I'm ~mermaid.with.ink and that's another favourite of mine because I love mermaids and I have a lot of ink :-)

It's from the lyrics from Fall Out Boy's song Dead On Arrival. The lyric is "I know I'm not your favorite record." Ironically they know have a song titled Favorite Record. xD

I have different ones, mostly because I don't want anyone I know in real life to find my LJ somehow. This one is my favorite, my other ones are just "xochels73xo" or some variation of that.

What's the story behind your nick name?
Well, my lj name is a combo of Batman and Marg. My various nicknames out in the world vary.

As said, I have lots of different nicknames. A decent number of people call me Margaret, but just as many use nicknames. Marg (hard g) is the primary one. Others include: Batman, Margi, Peg (ew lol), "the girl who likes the ipas" (at a restaurant I frequent), Magwai which eventually became Mugway which eventually became Muggy which finally became Mug, Margarita, and honestly a bunch more I can't think of atm.
Marg is my favorite though, since it's the most used and not one I feel like I have to explain when introduced to a new person.

I went straight for my one. I basically wanted my name to be batman, but I wanted a twist to it too.

Same here... In real life people calls me Ery or E and I like them both... it feels like when they use my entire name I did something wrong and they're mad at me xD I guess with my name that's about it... It's difficult to evolve into other nicknames... My cousins call me Ika because when they were kids they couldn't pronounce the Rs xD

i thought of my nickname cause i wanted something cute, not sure if that was accomplished but it stuck. some of my online friend's call me prinzess. i'm some form of prinzess everywhere: prinzessbtrfly, onlyonepinzess, emeraldprinzess...
my old screen name is cocomilklover but i went from that to prinzessbtrfly. i may change it one day but that's probably not going to be soon.
