I'm in France! We made it and I had the best flight EVER! The plane was - again - half empty!!! I had 2 empty seats next to me so I slept the entire flight! Eric wanted to stay up watching the TV and now he's sleeping on the table in front of me... Poor Puppy!

In 2 hours we'll board the last plane... The one for Genova and I can't wait to be home and take a looooooong shower! I feel disgusting... We left Georgia at 5 am, we got to Fort Lauderdale by lunch time and quickly moved around stuff in our storage unit, then a quick lunch and on the road again to Miami... We boarded a plane and now we're about to repeat the experience and I feel so gross!

Here in Paris there are a lot of parents traveling with their babies and I don't know how thay do it! Where do they put their laptop (my MacBook is my baby) and their stuff when they travel? The baby stuff must take away so much space... Oh dear... I can't even imagine how difficult it must be... I don't envy them!

I love traveling and I saw a lot of place in the last few years but there are so many I still need to go visit! I'm sure I'll eventually visit the cities I want to visit here in America and Canada... I'll definitely go to LA, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver... As well as some cities in Europe that are not too far from Italy and quite easy to reach without spending a lot of money like Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, ... But there are some places that are not that easy to reach... So I'll put these places in my list:

- New Zealand. I think it's such a gorgeous place... I saw pictures and I worked with a lot of people from there and they LOVE their Country! I wish I could go viit but it's so far away and I know so little about it...
- China. Always wanted to see the Great Wall of China!
- Japan. I just want to spend a month there and see as much as I can!

Yay for such a pleasant flight! I'm glad you landed and arrived safely to France. Wow, half empty with two seats to yourself and a peaceful sleep... who could ask for more!

Best flight ever! It was the same when I flew to Miami on September...

If you want to go to Europe remember: go between September and October and fly AirFrance (if you go through skyscanner.com try have pretty good deals...) just in case you and Forrest want another Honeymoon... :D

I guess than if both parents are traveling it's doable but alone? OMG I can't even thing about it... It scares me to think I might be in that situation one day... I mean I will have to keep flying for basically forever and I will eventually have to bring a kid with me... And I don;t think I'll be able to stay calm LOL!

I've traveled pregnant, one toddler alone, one toddler & one baby alone, and one child & one toddler with grandparents. It's a little bit easier with some help!

One time when Grant was a baby, I flew with him and toddler Levi from Huntsville, AL to Eastern NC with one layover in Charlotte. AND I LOST HIS BOTTLE!!!! Luckily, I found a really crappy one (very expensive one, I'll add) at the airport store. That would have been a disaster for everyone on board. Grant would get VERY hangry.

OMG... How do you pass through security? And how do you do with a baby on the plane... Do you have to hold him/she all the time?

(you should have never told me this because I'll soon start with the weird questions about babies)

OMG you are a machine! I'm so impressed!!! One toddler and a baby alone... I would still be at the airport crying over too much stress LOL!

I think Levi was 3, so he could walk (although not very quickly & he had his own seat) & Grant was maybe 5 months old so I held him, but I checked a stroller so I had that for the layover and gate change. Security was ok, just pass the kids though & the diaper bag. Remember this was 9 years ago, so I didn't have a laptop or smartphone to worry with =)

I don't get people who travel with babies either. Besides the stuff, there's no way a baby won't be miserable & complaining. Too many strange sights & sounds & the ear-popping thing.

I'd love to see New Zealand, though I doubt I'll make it happen since I can only take so many days off a year & want to prioritze $ to go back to England & France & maybe Italy. I'm definitely gonna make Canada happen at some point too.

I guess certain people have to... Like in families where the parents come from different countries... But is definitely VERY stressful! For the parents and for the baby.... And there are so many things you have to consider while traveling with a baby... A toddler or a kid should be kind of doable, but a baby?

I felt so gross after the first flight that I wanted to cry and be childish...

I probably understand less people that flies with animals on vacation... Poor cat or poor dog, stuck in a box for hours... :(

A trip to NZ must be very expensive... I'd probably (as you said) opt for easier places to reach... I know I will love Canada and there are so any European cities I want to visit... But if I could I'd probably hit these 3 places!

Come to Italy! COME!!!! :D

I've been to LA, San Diego, and been to Boston multiple times since I don't live too far from there. All great cities to visit!!
