What is your favourite colour and why? lifefailsme

Indigo! Because - to me - it's the color of the universe! :D

I just love the color! I've always been into every shade of blue since I was a kid and I remember telling my aunt that I shouldn't be forced to like pink and have pink stuff because I'm a girl! So I asked my dad to paint my room light blue and he did without questions! And I was like "take this aunt" LOL! I was 6 or 7 and my mother still laughs thinking about how mad I was about the whole pink girls blue boys!

But somehow I always end up surrounded by yellow, so I choose Indigo, but yellow chose me xD

if you want to give your aunt a history lesson you could always tell her that it used to be blue girls and pink boys until a department store decided to change things around and everyone just went along with it. like this is recent history, less than 100 years old, no matter what people think :)

My room was a pale green when I was growing up... then we painted at some point and I chose blue too. I think I had a darker blue feature wall and three paler blue?

I hated pink! Mum always, always dressed me in pink. One of the best gifts I have ever gotten (it's now a wonderful memory for me) is my grandpa giving me some dark purple clothing. Mum hated it, I loved it. She wanted to change it in for something else, I refused. In the short run she also hoped my grandpa had switched up the gifts for me and my younger cousin, but no the red one fit my cousin and purple fit me :D

I'm still not very fond of pink!

There are certain pinks that are nice to wear and I admit I have some pink items, but not that many... I'd never have any room in the house painted pink... I'd totally have a car in any color but pink! I had bright yellow, red and now black but I would never get a pink car... it's just too much I guess... And it makes you think about baby girls... I don't want to be seen as a baby girl or a girly girl... xD

At the end of the day: poor pink... the most avoided color xD

Go! Grandpa! I can imagine him going "fuck this colors obligations" and buy you and your cousin something in dark purple and red! So cool!

Ahhh that color is lovely! Green is my favorite color personally, but indigo is right up there! Indeed, the color of the universe!
