Third day of the Ask Me Anything Meme!

The question of the day is: What is your favourite flower and why? monkiainen

I had to think a bit about it because there are a lot of flowers that I like, but then I had to go back to the the first that came to mind! The Sunflower!
I just like the fact it looks like the Sun and it constanly searches for it. It's like a love story!!! That doesn't sound like a healthy love story though... you're copying your loved one and keep looking for them... nope definitely unhealthy XD but I like the flower anyway!
Also, Van Gogh is my favorite painter and he painted a lot of sunflowers, so... :D

Sunflowers are also known for their symmetry based on Fibonacci numbers and that's just awesome!!!

Eric and I are traveling north. We left this morning the apartment in Fort Lauderdale, FL and we're now driving up to York, PA where we're going to be for 2 weeks before leaving for Italy again! We are about to cross the border and enter Georgia... Florida stretches quite a lot!

We're going to stop somewhere on the road and break the trip in 2 parts since Eric is doing all the driving... I only drive in Italy XD

For those who don't know I can't drive in America because the streets are too wide... it scares me! I need to get a Florida driving licence so that I have a document with my married name on it that is not my green card or credit card... but I just can't... it goes again against all I know... taking the test, driving in a parking lot with a car with no stick seems like a crime! So I'm postponing and I have to let Eric sit behind the wheel...

Random fact: my Dad was throwing the birdseed off the deck into the backyard when he thought the birds had picked through it all - apparently they didn't eat the sunflower seeds because now my parents have a random patch of sunflowers growing in their backyard LOL! Resilient buggers!

LOL Our streets are wide and our cars are big. You can come hang out in Boston someday, you'll feel better, those streets feel cramped! You should get a license though...or some kind of ID so you can get a library card. :D

Picky birds! Lol (I love sunflower seeds... yummy) it must be nice to have a bunch in front of the house... are they tall? How long did they take to grow? :)

If it's the only way to get a library card I'll have to... :) I guess I just have to go and take the test... I mean I know how to drive... I think one of the things it weirdos me out is the fact that your cars go even if you're not pressing the accelerator... that doesn't seem safe... but probably to you is not safe a car that, if you have to go up-hill and don't press down the accelerator goes back without stopping... :)

Hm, yeah I suppose that would be a weird one to deal with if you haven't before. I just don't take my foot of the brake until I'm ready to go. Do you usually drive automatic or manual?

Always drove manual... now I have a Smart Car that is semi automatic but I always go manual... it makes me feel in controll and I love the sound of the engine... :)

I need to find out if Smart Car are semi automatic in America too and where I can rent one for my driving test... that will make me feel so much better!!!
