Then again, how awkward would it be to write a REAL YA novel with your Mom? LOL, like when you think of all the issues and feelings you have as a teen...I don't think I'd want to write a book with my mother talking about how horny I was all the time and how confused I felt all the time hahahaha.
This actually made me laugh out loud. Poor thing... I actually haven't thought about the fact the girl must have been a teenager at the time (since the story is more for kids than young adults) and apparently it took them 2 years so she went through a quite interesting period of her life...

If you ever want to read a GOOD YA book, you let me know. :) I have many many favorites (though most are not romance...but a few are romantic)
I think I'll stick with adults for a while but thanks and I'll definitely come to you when I need a suggestion!!!... Actually I think my next book (I'm reading a Star Wars one now and I'm 2/3 into it) is a YA... Its title is Code Name Verity by Elizabeth E. Wein. 2 of my dearest friends read it and they said it was so good... they cried a lot apparently... Do you know it?
