The only reason this book got picked up is because Jodi Picoult is a very popular author for adults. I don't know any teens who liked it either LOL! I remember picking it up and flipping through it and just knowing immediately that it wasn't going to be any good. The whole formatting was just weird.
Then again, how awkward would it be to write a REAL YA novel with your Mom? LOL, like when you think of all the issues and feelings you have as a teen...I don't think I'd want to write a book with my mother talking about how horny I was all the time and how confused I felt all the time hahahaha.
If you ever want to read a GOOD YA book, you let me know. :) I have many many favorites (though most are not romance...but a few are romantic)
