Wow, what made you change your mind, if you don't mind me asking? Well, I think he was "the one" I've never been in love before or after him, I had lots of flings and boyfriends either but he was my soul mate, we were just perfect for each other but was too soon. I was happy like that and he wanted more at some point. When he asked me I felt like I was in trap, I was just 20. There were so many things I wanted to do and so many places I wanted to see and so many experience out there. I was about to say yes just because I didn't want to hurt him or lose him but it wasn't right I knew if I'd have said yes in a couple of years I would have had regrets and I'd have blamed him for that! So after a while we broke up! I still see him he's like a friend but we still love each other but in a different way, more than normal friends but we just know we had our moment but it was too soon and what we have break it's impossible to fix. When I say that I have no regrets, and I think he's grateful for what I did because I gave him the chance to live his life too! In these years we did stuff that would have never been possible if we were married. :)
I've always thought that marriage it's the end of the story not the beginning, that's not my thing now, I'm not over yet :D

Date: 2010-09-18 03:28 pm (UTC)I think it's better to be rational in this kind of things! People always say "follow your heart" but you have to follow your mind too! Love doesn't last forever, you have to choose "the one" carefully not just because he's hot or nice or whatever! My best friend is getting married and I think is just because her brother had a child a yaer ago and she went GaGa from that moment! She doesn't talk about her fiancé so much and hat argue for stupid reasons like soccer and friends that she doesn't approve! It's crazy and it can't go well... of course I love my best friend and I hope everything works out for the best but I'm really scared for her!
