Oh I like your idea! I'd love to see that! That would be rly interesting and that would bring so much ANGST! In that scenario we could have an hurt Arthur acting weird around Merlin and maybe other people too, questioning himself a lot and wondering why Merlin doesn't trust him as much as he does! That would be a really interesting thing to do... Can you imagine? In the season finale Merlin VS Morgana (I can't wait for evil!Morgana) with Arthur who sees whuite magic against dark magic and... OMG I have to stop myself to think about it! xD damn... 9 months... I should start to read fanfictions... xD
