OMG the Dragon was so cute!
I know what you're thinking "What the hell girl? Did you see the last episode of Merlin or what? Oh wait a minute, you was high during the episode didn't you?"
And the answer is: "No I wasn't, how dare you imaginary person who I'm talking to! Yes dude, I've seen it, and I don't care, I love the Dragon!"

Well, Merlin was EPIC this week and I can prove it to you: I have EPIC pics and EPIC quotes! Follow the link with the mini picspam/review!

Dragon: Knights, LOLz

The Dragon is pissed off with Camelot, all Camelot, even Arthur and Gwen,... I mean, ok for Gwen, if the Dragon knows the future he knows that girl will break Arthur's heart and he's an Arthur/Merlin shipper so..., but really WHY Arthur? Poor him, everybody hates him because of Uther! If you're pissed off with Uther try to kill him and not everyone else, he doesn't care so much about his kingdom!

What was I saying, yes the Dragon is fighting against the knights... Oh Knights... He's a Dragon. Dragon = Fire. And you're trying to kill him with what? Fire? xD I love you knights!

Gaius: Merlin, whatever happens, you must not let Arthur know who this man is. Uther would view the son of a Dragonlord with the deepest suspicion.

Then, in the castle everyone have his role: Arthur acts like a real king , Uther as a prat, Why Uther has Anthony Head's face? WHYYYY? :( and Gaius saves the day with his knowledge... same old, same old... The only way to save the kingdom is go and find the last of the Timelords, no wait: the last of the Dragonlords (well the Doctor would be a good help!) and he's *epic music* MERLIN'S FATHER WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Well I was expecting this till the episode with Arthur's mother :P but still: WHAAAAAAAAAAAT? Gaius knew and he saved him a long time ago? And Merlin is born thanks to him? GAIUS FTW!
Arthur decides to go and find this man and guess who he takes with him in this dangerous mission? Merlin... why? Why Merlin? Give me a reason! Does he have some kind of battle skills? Well, of couse he has, he's a young warlock but you don't know that, Arthur!

Gaius says to Merlin to shut the hell up with Arthur, he doesn't have to know about his father... Oh Gaius... WHY? You used to be a shipper too! What happened to you and the Dragon? :( And what does mean: "Don't tell Arthur because Uther..." again ARTHUR IS NOT UTHER...

And now let's the slash begins:

1. Does it need saying? Look at this scene please! That's a classic! xD Btw WTH Gwen is not a good nurse at all xD Look at the bandages! Well she was in front of a naked!Bradley... I can understand! I'm an understandable person xD

Arthur: What is wrong with you today?
Merlin: What?
Arthur: It pains me to admit it, but I do enjoy your surly retorts. In fact, it is probably your only redeemable feature.
Merlin: Thanks.
Arthur: There are loads of servants who can serve, but so few are capable of making a complete prat of themselves. What is it?
Merlin: Nothing.
Arthur: It's something. Tell me.
 

Come on Merlin. Tell him! You can trust him. Pleaseeeee!

2. Pillow fight sort of... another classic!

Arthur: All right, I know I'm a prince... so we can't be friends. But if I wasn't a prince...
Merlin: What?
Arthur: Well, then...I think we'd probably get on.
Merlin: So?
Arthur: So that means you can tell me.
Merlin: That's true. But, you see, if you weren't a prince, I'd tell you to mind your own damn business.
Merlin! Are you missing Gaius?
Merlin: Something like that.
Arthur: Well, what is it, then?
Merlin: I'll tell you. I'm worried about everyone back in Camelot. I hope they're all right.
Arthur: So do I.

 

Ok. This scene made me so happy! Arthur wants Merlin to open up to him so badly 'cos he really cares about him! He's his only true friend. Everybody loves him because he's the prince not because he's Arthur... He told him about Gwen and about his mother, he trusts him. I don't know what happened to Merlin, why is he so scared? When Arthur will descover about Merlin's skills he will be so hurt... :(
 

3. That's happened in season 1 too. But the sick one was Merlin!
 

Arthur: Merlin... Merlin

They find Merlin's father, he cures Arthur and  he says bed things about Uther... He desn't want to help Camelot, again: Uther is one thing and Camelot another... Meh. Then Merlin says the magic word: "Gaius" and Balinor decides to help them! YAY Merlin tells him that he's his father and he makes him a toy and then dies... WHAT? Well he had "doomed" written all over his face since the beginning but... just like that? Merlin cries and calls him father while Arthur is... I dunno where he was in that particular moment maybe he had to pee... Damn you Arthur! Time to come back from the woods and Balinor is dead!

Merlin: I can't do it alone.
Balinor: Listen to me. You are my son. I've seen enough in you to know you will make me proud.

Poor Merlin. He needs an hug but he can't say to Arthur that Balinor was his father. Look Gaius is all your fault! Colin's eyes are so pretty btw!

Merlin and Arthur are back to Camelot. Arthur says that Balinor is dead and they have to fight this battle alone. Everybody in the room is thinking that Arthur is the best while Uther is a big fat stupid asshole (again, sorry Anthony) expecially when he says something about the dragonlords and their being evil and blah blah blah.
Arthur asks to his knights who wants to go to die with him and all of them (except for the one next to Uther) join Arthur, maybe cos is better die with the pretty blonde one than stay in the castle with the stupid one who cares nobody but his royal arse!
 

Arthur: Who wants to die with me? (that was the meaning of his words xD)

Arthur: Look on the bright side, Merlin. Chances are you're not going to have to clean this again.
Merlin: You must be careful today. Do not force the battle.
Arthur: Yes, Sire.
Merlin: I'm serious.
Arthur: I can hear that.
Merlin: Let matters take their course.
Arthur: Merlin, if I die...please...
Merlin: What?
Arthur: The Dragonlord today. I saw you. One thing I tell all my young Knights - no man is worth your tears.
Merlin: Yeah. You're certainly not.
 

 

Arthur: What are you doing?
Merlin: I'm coming with you.
Arthur: Merlin, the chances are I'm going to die.
Merlin: Yeah, you probably would if I wasn't there.
Arthur: Right!
Merlin: Do you know how many times I had to save your Royal backside?
Arthur: Well, at least you've got your sense of humour back. Are you really going to face this dragon with me?
Merlin: I'm not going to sit here and watch. I know it's hard for you to understand how I feel, but... Well, I care a hell of a lot about that armour. I'm not going to let you mess it up.

 

Oh yes... you care about the armour... yes yes...! I love Arthur's face when Merlin says "I know it's hard for you to understand how I feel" xD
 

Arthur: Well, that wasn't a very good idea!

A few minutes to the end of the episode and the season... :(
Merlin, Arthur and 12/13 knights are in the Twilight's garden in the middle of the forest where Bella and Edward use to spend their angst moments, waiting for the Dragon... they have a plan... well they don't actually. The Dragon arrives and burns all the knights in a second and then look at his favourite couple wondering WHY there was so much Arthur/Gwen in this season? He tryes to burn Arthur too but without too much dedication and the pretty one wounds him and then faints. Merlin has time to say what he has to say... Why Arthur is always KO or in the woods when I need him to listen to Merlin's words? Damn you pretty boy!

Merlin: Hocus-pocus or something like that.
 

LOL I love how Kilgharrah is all "Oops. I'm sorry if I've done something wrong... I was drunk."
Awww look how cute is he with his shiny eyes! Awwww I want him for Christmas... Uh I decided that my next pet will be named: Kilgharrah!

Kilgharrah: I am the last of my kind, Merlin. Whatever wrongs I have done, do not make me responsible for the death of my noble breed.
Merlin: Go! Leave! If you ever attack Camelot again, I WILL kill you. I have shown you mercy. Now you must do the same to others.
Kilgharrah: Young warlock, what you have shown is what you will be. I will not forget your clemency. I'm sure our paths will cross again.
Ery: NOOOOO DON'T GOOOOOO STAYYYYYYY
 

And now the most absurd scene in the universe:

Arthur: What happened?
Merlin: You dealt him a mortal blow.
Arthur: He's gone?
Merlin: Yeah. You did it. You did it.
 

No, really this is pretty stupid! Do I have to explain why? xD How could Arthur believes in Merlin's words? That's insane!

The Dragon is gone (for now) and Camelot is safe again, not thanks to Uther. Back home Gwen hugs Arthur infront of everyone and Gaius hugs Merlin... The next season wil start with the Knights gossiping about the Prince and the Maid xD And now Merlin is also a young Dragonlord! YAY!

Well this was supose to be a mini picspam but I couldn't help :P
And now we have to wait 9 months for the next season? No way!
I have some Merlin's news btw! My Bradley James Christmas Video is done. I think I'll upload it tomorrow so stay tuned! :)

There were a lot of moments in the episode when I thought, 'Okay, this is where Arthur discovers Merlin's secret.'
Same here! Oh that would be AMAZING! I still can't understand why the writers chose to not thake that road! That would be an AWESOME season finale... but maybe that have their reasons! :(

Merlin has another special gift (I mean the dragonlord gift, not the dragon toy...although that was rather cute).

Divertentissimo questo review solo che io ho fatto un pasticcio perchè l'ho letto prima di guardare l'episodio così invece di godermi l'EPICNESS di questo episodio pensavo a quello che hai scritto sul drago e sull'episodio in generale e ridevo come una scema!! :)
Probabilmente riguarderò l'episodio tra qualche giorno così da entrare in depressione per il fatto che Merlin è finito e che devo aspettare NOVE mesi per la terza stagione e anche per il fatto che drago se ne sia andato via!!! Lui che shippava così tanto Arthur/Merlin!! :(
Adesso come farà Merlin a risolvere i suoi infiniti problemi senza il drago?

Va bene ora smetto di scrivere cavolate e dico una cosa seria il picspam è CARINISSIMO!! Le scene Arthur/Merlin poi sono fantastiche!! :)

I loved this episode so much! Both Bradley and Colin were amazing in it. Can we just have the Adventures of Arthur and Merlin from now on? I don't need Uther or Gwen or Morgana or Gaius. ;)

Brilliant picspam/review! SO much of what you said I agree with- most depressing bit being how hurt and broken Arthur will be when he does find out about Merli'ns magic. The more they prolong it the harder he will hurt.

LOL I didn't get why they were using fire against the Dragon, either! Didn't seem like a very wise or powerful choice. (Also, I like Kalgarrah, too, even after all the damage he did.)

You know, it would be a good way to show Arthur's character, how he cares for Merlin so much that he would never persecute him for being magical, by having Arthur find out by accident, and know for a while without Merlin knowing he knows. That would be interesting I think, and maybe... gosh, I was thinking less hurtful, but maybe it would be more hurtful. Because he'd just keep to himself, and not let on that he knows and is hurting.

Damn, thinking of the dead knights is pretty depressing... They were really brave, though. <3 (Can't quite remember a curly one, but do remember a blonde one..)

Oh I like your idea! I'd love to see that! That would be rly interesting and that would bring so much ANGST! In that scenario we could have an hurt Arthur acting weird around Merlin and maybe other people too, questioning himself a lot and wondering why Merlin doesn't trust him as much as he does! Well I think that for a REAL big Merlin/Morgana fight we should wait the season finale... well they'll meet again for sure before the season finale... I'm not sure Morgana is already evil even if Merlin tried to "kill her" (stupid Merlin, why didn't you explain to her the whole situation) I think that there still a lot of good in her, something more will have to happen. Maybe Uther will kill her sister, or maybe Arthur will do that for some reason... in the legend she hates Arthur and she wants him dead so, maybe Morgouse will try to kill Merlin, Arthur will save him killing her first and Morgana will feel her sister's pain (as Morgouse felt Morgana's) and she will swear revenge! There are just a lot of "maybe" but that's fun tho ;)

You don't have to apologize for the truth! I just wish they tried better with Arthur and Gwen, they do not have the chemistry like M&A, Arthur and Merlin actually know things about each other, I think that helps with the whole 'love' thing. :)
