I think is the position and the fact we are so close to the water... It never gets too cold! You might need a jacket in the evening in January or February if it's very windy, but no... It never gets super cold... But the AC in the stores is so strong all year long that it can feel like winter LOL!
When I'm in Italy and it's very cold (December and January are very cold) I hate it! I don't like to be cold! But I mind it a little bit less now that I know that I'm basically living in Florida and I can come back whenever I want :D
