Picspam: Single Father - Episode 1

I'm doing this while I'm listening toI Look To You by Amber Riley (Glee) so I'm actually crying like a river.
First of all how amazing was the fact this show was aired in date 10/10/'10? And here it started at 10 pm. Major LOL!
I don't actually know what to say except I loved it! I have always wanted to see David in this kind of role and he was just fantastic, no wonders David is my favourite actor, he was so intense in every single scene I missed him so much and even if I knew I missed him I didn't realize how much!

Here are The Top 10 of my favourite scenes in this first episode. They are in the order they have been shown I can't do a propper top ten because I loved every single bit of this show!.

oo1. I LOVE YOU -I love you! -I love you too! -Dad...  Are you OK? -Sorry, that just came out! oo2. LIGHTS -Hang on. -What? -Diffused light, coloured light, it's quite flattering. See. -OK, so all I have to do is walk round in a tent?    oo3. LUCKY TO HAVE YOU -Come and get your apology, come on. -You've got your old diary out. -I know, it's exam fever. It's taken me back, I got the urge. Get off! I'm selfish, OK. Not you, me and I am so lucky to have you.   oo4. I'VE GOT TO SEE THE KIDS -The boys are being looked after in the Infant's with Evie. -Because? -I'm so sorry but there's been a most terrible accident. Rita was hit by a police car on the way home from school... Sit down... Sit down... -No... No... Where are... Do they know? Do they know? -Mr Tyler. Just stay here, just stay here. -Where are the kids? Where are the kids? -They're upstairs. -I've got to see the kids. oo5. MY LOVE DIED My love died today at two minutes past two. oo6. I SHOULD PUNCH YOU -Off the bike, please, sir. -Maybe this is what I wanted. -Sorry, sir? Beg your pardon? -I should punch you out by rights, d'you know that? oo7. I CAN'T PUT A PRICE -Can I leave this to you? -Well, not really, no, it's a life-changing amount of money. -Robin...I can't put a price. Really, I'm not interested. oo8. I'M NOT PART OF YOU -Everything's going to be all right, is it? -Well... -I don't think so. -Why do you say that? - Why do you think I said it? -I don't know. - Because the others have all got you. Paul's got you, Ewan's got you, Evie but... What have I got? Beatty's not mine, she adopted Mum, Anna's not mine. Only Mum was mine, and... she's gone now, and I'm not part of anyone. It's like, it's like, everyone chooses "Boy" for the dog. -Well, Evie wanted Pigsnatch, so... -You're not my dad! -No, I'm not, no. No. -You don't even notice when I'm not at school! I want my dad! I want MY dad! And I'm gonna find him! I don't know how, but I am. Cos I'm not part of you, and you don't care! oo9. I CAN'T DO THIS -I can't do this... I can't do this, I can't do this without Rita. I miss her, I miss her, I miss her so much! Oh... Fuck! It's brutal to miss her, every moment. I mean, I know other people miss her too, I know they do, but they weren't with her all the time, every day, every day. So some of their life, for odd moments, is maybe still the same, but... You know, don't you, you know? -I do. o1o. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE ON YOUR OWN -Oh, I can't do this! -What? What? Yes, you can. Dave, you are a great dad. Look, you can and you will, and you're not going to be on your own.

During the whole episode I had this urge to hug him! I have to admit that I watched the last scene maybe too many times!
Unfortunately next week I won't be able to see the episode since I'll be in London. I hope to have the time to put it on my Creative Zen so I'll have something to watch during my flight.
By the way this show is giving me so many material for my Alt!Ten/Rose videos... :)

You know, people think I'm always complaining because in UK there are just 5 or 6 tv actors and if you watch a random show you'll probably spot almost 3 actors who had a role on the Who!Verse once in their life. No trust me, do you want an example? I'll give you three names:
Here in Single Father if we don't count David - The10th Doctor - Tennant we have:

Suranne Jones (Sarah):  Doctor Who - Episode #6.3 Idris && The Sarah Jane Adventures - Mona Lisa's Revenge: Part 1 and 2 Neve McIntosh (Anna): Doctor Who - Cold Blood, The Hungry Earth Isla Blair (Beatty) Doctor Who Classic - The King's Demons (1983)

And maybe they are even more, I just take a look at the main cast on IMDB.
But really, I'm not complaining at all... David and Laura Fraser worked together in Casanova back in 2005 and he also share his filmography with Sarah Parrish (she was also in Doctor Who, she was Empress: the big spider in The Runaway Bride) so maybe in the future I'm going to see again together on screen David and Billie. Who knows!

Gotta go now! I have so many shows to watch, I only saw How I Met Your Mother and was a brilliant episode, my favourite so far in this season!

Sì David è stato davvero fenomenale! Spero di riuscire a caricare sul mio lettore il secondo episodio così me lo guarderò in aereo, ma il terzo lo perdo di certo... dai, almeno non soffrirò da ansia da prossimo episodio LOL!

Già mi spaventa il fatto che tra 3 puntate David sparirà di nuovo dal mio monitor :(

Non è giusto che lo metti sul Creative e vai avanti di un episodio!! XD Già ci perdiamo un'intera settimana telefilmica (fra l'altro l'episodio di SJA con Matt è domenica e lunedi quando ancora siamo a Londra XD), non puoi già metterti più avanti di me! :P Meno male che 90210, Gossip Girl e mi pare anche Glee vadano in hiatus la prossima settimana! :P

Sì va be' ovvio Sarah >>>>> Rita! Quella cercava di fare figli a volontà e se sbatteva poi quando crescevano xD
Però dai lui che dice Ti Amo al nulla è da brividi e anche quando lei gli chiede scusa! Sono gli unici momenti in cui Rita è stata sopportabile... tra l'altro anche quando faceva Herrietta in Casanova era un po' stronza... andava dove c'erano i soldi ma non stile Satine con Christian... :)

LOL tranquillo che io questa settimana sono già indietro, ho visto solo HIMYM quindi nella totalità sei più avanti tu di me! xD Poi dai se ce l'ho nel creative magari troviamo anche il modo di vederlo o ci butti un occhi una sera prima di andare a dormire! Non ti lascio senza la tua dose di David, non sono così cattiva xD

In realtà come Henrietta mi piaceva molto di più, il loro amore era cmq più epico, non come Sarah che sbuffava perché non sapeva fare delle semplici espressioni, c'mon! XD
