Setting: The Doctor and Rose (somewhere in s2) in the TARDIS, arguing, big time. Doctor decides to take Rose back to Jacky so she can rant it off with her mother and he has time to tinker with the TARDIS and cool off himself. Once the TARDIS lands, Rose storms out and only realises a few blocks further that she isn't in London near the Powell Estate. First, she wants to go back but then, Rose being Rose, she goes off to explore a bit on her own.
She meets Barney while shopping, he invites her to MacLarens and she agrees.
Switch to: In a darkish underground layer, a red light starts beeping and the owner of said layer realises that finally what he's been searching for for years is near him (aka background radiation xD). Do I HAVE to spell out the name of said wanna-be villain? Yeah, he is horrible and has a Doctorate *coughs* in evilness. SORRY BUT THAT JUST TOTALLY POPPED INTO MY HEAD AND IT WONT GO AWAY!

When he wants a cup of tea, he leaves the TARDIS only to realise he is not in Jacky's flat but in 21st Century New York, sun just down. He is concerned about Rose so he takes of, Sonic in hand, tracing Rose's DNA data.
He arrives at MacLarens but Rose is not there but, as her DNA trace thingy (gotta work on the name ^^) ends there, he asks around and finds Barney.
