Honestly there was another way they could have done it. They could have had her married to Jess and Rory being scared about being a mom and Lorelai is trying to make her feel better.
Speaking of Jess I finally like Rory x Jess. [I havent watched all the seasons but I was team Dean x Rory for a while]. If there is a new series I hope she winds up with him he could take care of her and make her happy like Luke does for Lorelai X33
