They're definitely two very different writers... Moffat was concentrating more on the humane side of the Doctor while Moffat is more on the Sci-Fi side of things, so to me the episodes that Moffat writes are more interesting on a story level week after week (he comes out with pretty cool stuff) but with Davies I connect more with the characters and I enjoy the ride (he creates puzzles and I love when all the pieces go to place). So yes, I agree. It feels like a different show!

Fandom hate comes from people that don't know how to argument a thesis... When you don't know how to answer you get upset and aggressive... That's why, now that I think about it, I think the DW fandom has less haters, because who doesn't understand the show gives up and move on...
